What is Yuletide?

Yule is one of the oldest winter solstice festivals in the world and originated in Scandinavia. The word Yule comes from the old Norse word for wheel, which symbolizes fresh starts and the cyclical nature of the planet.

Yule is a pagan holiday that celebrates the return of light and warmth after the winter solstice. It's celebrated by many Pagans and Wiccans in the Northern Hemisphere on December 21.
