Well, there were entrepreneurs before too. The year was 1895.
Hans Petter Brynildsen was 42 years old and decided to put
the carpentry job on the shelf and start a mineral water factory
in Fredrikstad. His son, Birger Brynildsen, took over in 1925,
and surely there was not a little entrepreneur in him either.
- Drops!, thought Birger, and then there was drop production
as well.
Despite all the warnings, the drops turned out to be a great idea. Birger soon had to build a larger drops factory, and this is how the baton has passed through five generations of Brynildsen.
Today we have a tip-top, state-of-the-art factory in Fredrikstad,
and a candy factory in Årjäng in Sweden.
We make both new and classic sweets for the enjoyment
of young and old.
